The implementation of autonomous and connected driving (ACD) in public transportation and its integration into local public transport (ÖPNV) opens up new opportunities for community-oriented and sustainable mobility.

Developing an early strategic approach to ACD in cities and municipalities, gathering local operational knowledge and experience, and building a local network will strengthen future planning and implementation capabilities.
