Enjoy the reading of the FAME Newsletter

Welcome to the FAME newsletter

The FAME project builds on the successful EU-funded Connection and Support Actions ARCADE, CARTRE, VRA, and FOT-Net. These actions have developed harmonised methodologies and federated large networks of stakeholders to drive consensus building on challenges, needs, and requirements for Cooperative, Connected, and Automated Mobility (CCAM) and Field Operational Tests.

The mission of FAME is to engage an active community of stakeholders across the complex cross-sectorial value chain, and capitalise on shared knowledge, to improve cooperation, consensus building and data sharing for CCAM testing and large-scale demonstration activities in Europe.

What's next?

The upcoming issues of the FAME newsletter will go in-depth with every section of the Knowledge Base, exploring the features, the data and the useful tools available.

In the meantime, join us on this remarkable journey as we build a vibrant community, driving innovation and shaping the future of connected mobility in Europe and beyond!

The Knowledge Base is a comprehensive platform that serves as a centralised hub, providing a one-stop shop for data, knowledge, and experiences on CAD/CCAM in Europe and beyond.

In the dynamic landscape of connected and automated driving, the sharing of knowledge, data, and experiences is crucial for development. By consolidating various knowledge sources, the Knowledge Base empowers stakeholders to gain a holistic understanding of the future impacts of road automation. The information there builds on results and lessons learnt from previous research and supports future research, development and testing of CCAM solutions and the evaluation of their wider impact.

On the KB you can register to get involved in the CAD Stakeholder Network activities organised by FAME, such as workshops or the EUCAD conferences and the EUCAD Symposium. Help us keep up with the latest news & events in the field, and send us your CCAM-related news, and/or provide feedback for improvements or additions to the Knowledge Base.

Get involved with the KB!

The Knowledge Base VIP blog traces back to the previous ARCADE Project and serves as a platform for opinion leaders in CCAM to share their valuable perspectives on the field in general, as well as the role of the Knowledge Base specifically.

Your contribution would greatly enrich the Knowledge Base and provide valuable thought leadership to the CCAM community.

If you and/or your organisation are interested in featuring in the blog to share insights and perspectives on CCAM, send us an email at info@connectedautomateddriving.eu.

New featuring interviews will be added after the summer break!
