The European Commission will host the first European Connected and Autonomous Vehicle Alliance (ECAVA) Forum on 23-24 June 2026 in Brussels, gathering industry leaders, policymakers, cities and international partners to advance Europe’s ambitions in connected and autonomous mobility.

The European Connected and Autonomous Vehicle Alliance (ECAVA) was launched in October 2025.

During the event Executive Vice-President Henna Virkkunen will launch the Autonomous Drive Ambition Cities (ADACities) flagship initiative to accelerate the deployment of AI-enabled autonomous mobility solutions in European cities.

The conference will focus on Europe’s position in the rapidly evolving global automotive landscape; investment and technology gaps across the digital automotive ecosystem, opportunities for international cooperation, and pathways to scaling autonomous mobility solutions. Participants from Europe, Japan, UK and US will share experiences and explore partnerships.
