CCAM States Representatives Group (SRG) Meets in London to Advance European Deployment

The CCAM States Representatives Group (SRG) met in London, UK, on 18–19 June 2026, bringing together representatives from EU Member States and Horizon Europe associated countries to discuss the future deployment of connected, cooperative and automated mobility (CCAM).

Hosted at the Smart Mobility Living Lab, the meeting highlighted the UK’s progress on connected and automated mobility, including implementation of the Automated Vehicles Act 2024, alongside demonstrations of real-world automated transport applications.

Discussions also focused on European coordination, with updates on the evolving regulatory framework, cross-border testing initiatives, and collaboration between projects such as CCAMbassador and EFAT. Looking ahead, participants emphasised the need to shift from research to large-scale deployment, market uptake and competitiveness under the next EU Framework Programme (FP10).

The meeting reinforced the importance of coordinated action across Europe to accelerate the safe deployment of connected and automated mobility.
