The calls for proposals under the Connected, Cooperative and Automated Mobility (CCAM) Partnership as part of the Horizon Europe Cluster 5 – Climate, Energy and Mobility Work Programme 2026–2027 are currently open for submission, with a deadline of 8th October.

With a deadline of 8 October 2026, the new calls focus on advancing technologies and approaches that can contribute to safer, smarter and more sustainable mobility systems.

The 2026 work programme includes funding opportunities in three strategic areas:

🔹 Large-scale demonstrations of CCAM (Flagship Pilot), supporting ambitious real-world demonstrations to validate automated mobility solutions and accelerate their deployment.

🔹 Geopolitical competition and socioeconomic resilience in CCAM, addressing Europe’s competitiveness, technological leadership and resilience in an evolving global mobility landscape.

🔹 Generative AI for smarter CCAM, exploring the potential of artificial intelligence to enhance automated driving systems, simulation environments, traffic management and operational efficiency.

Organisations interested in participating can find further information on the available topics and funding opportunities through the CCAM Association.
