Discover EU-CEM: A New Webinar Series on Evaluating CCAM Impacts
How can you plan a realistic evaluation of connected, cooperative and automated mobility (CCAM)? Which impacts should you assess, and how can evaluation results support better decisions?
The Horizon Europe CCAMbassador project is launching a four-part webinar series dedicated to the practical application of the European Common Evaluation Methodology for CCAM (EU-CEM). The series will help professionals understand how to apply the methodology in different project contexts, from planning evaluations to assessing wider societal impacts.
The EU-CEM Handbook provides guidelines and best practices for planning and conducting high-quality CCAM evaluations. Covering four evaluation levelsโvehicle, human, transport system and societyโit supports projects in developing feasible evaluation plans and generating reliable evidence for decision-making.
Whether you are new to EU-CEM or already using the methodology, these webinars will offer practical guidance and examples to support your work.
Four webinars, four practical topics
1. Introduction to applying EU-CEM in small and large CCAM projects
19 November 2026 | 09:00 CET
Learn how to lay the foundations for a successful evaluation during project preparation and develop a feasible evaluation plan. The session will also address the specific challenges of larger projects and explain which steps may be simplified for smaller initiatives.
Speakers
Satu Inamma – Principal Scientist – VTT
Sintonen Henri – Research Scientist -VTT
2. Applying EU-CEM to public transport and logistics use cases
20 November 2026 | 09:00 CET
Explore practical examples of applying EU-CEM to public transport and logistics. The webinar will discuss key considerations when developing an evaluation plan and demonstrate which impacts can be assessed in these contexts.
Speaker
Lone-Eirin Lervรฅg – Head of Innovation and Knowledge Development – ITS Norway
Anna Anund – VTI
3. A deep dive into sustainability and equity impacts
26 November 2026 | 09:00 CET
