FRODDO launches survey to identify market barriers to CCAM technology adoption
The European research project FRODDO is inviting stakeholders to participate in a questionnaire aimed at identifying the market barriers that could hinder the adoption of technologies developed within the Connected, Cooperative and Automated Mobility (CCAM) environment.
As CCAM technologies continue to advance, understanding the challenges that may prevent their uptake is essential to ensuring that research and innovation can translate into practical solutions for future mobility.
FRODDO aims to develop and test a comprehensive suite of methods and tools based on safe systems design within a federated Digital Twin environment. By combining advanced sensing, machine learning, hybrid artificial intelligence and simulation, the project seeks to improve the adaptability, safety, security and sustainability of automated mobility in complex and changing road environments.
The survey builds on desk research conducted by ITML, which identified technological, organisational and environmental challenges reported across relevant studies. The questionnaire aims to validate the relevance of these barriers while giving respondents the opportunity to identify additional challenges that could affect the adoption of CCAM technologies.
The questionnaire begins by collecting general information about respondents’ organisations before exploring the specific challenges and barriers associated with adopting CCAM solutions.
Why participate?
Feedback from stakeholders will help the FRODDO consortium strengthen the market orientation of its results, better understand the needs of prospective users and support the future uptake and exploitation of the technologies developed by the project.
Stakeholders working in connected and automated mobility, transport, research, technology development and related fields are encouraged to share their perspectives and contribute to a clearer understanding of the conditions needed for successful CCAM deployment.
