Call for pledges: Transition Pathway for the EU Mobility Industrial Ecosystem

The European Commission DG GROW launched on 16 April a call for pledges to achieve the green and digital transition of the EU Mobility Industrial Ecosystem while ensuring its competitiveness and resilience to crises.

This call for pledges  (any initiative or concrete actions underway or commitments by organisations to achieve greener and digital mobility ecosystem) is key to working together with stakeholders to co-implement the fields of action identified in EC’s Mobility Transition Pathway (published in January 2024).

This will allow businesses and organisations to “lead by example”, showcasing what they are doing and intend to do for a more sustainable, digital and resilient mobility industry. Indeed, the Commission will regularly review pledges proposed and publish them on its website, for stakeholders to identify best practices and get inspired. Moreover, this will also help identify opportunities for investment, synergies and potential complementary action and support at EU level.

All public and private organisations (not individuals) are invited to participate and submit their pledges (using the submission form) by 1 September 2024.
