Diversify-CCAM Project Launches Survey to Gather Insights from CCAM Designers and Developers
The European-funded Diversify-CCAM project has launched a new survey aimed at designers and developers working in the field of Cooperative, Connected and Automated Mobility (CCAM), seeking to better understand how diversity and inclusivity are considered in the design and development of future mobility systems.
According to the project, the questionnaire explores the experiences, perspectives and decision-making practices of professionals involved in developing CCAM technologies. The survey focuses on issues including diversity, inclusivity, equality of access to mobility, and the social, cultural, geographical and policy factors that influence the development of automated transport solutions. It takes approximately 25 minutes to complete and it is fully anonymous. it will close on August, 14th, 2026.
The findings will contribute to the project’s forthcoming Handbook of Recommendations for CCAM Designers and Developers, as well as other dissemination activities highlighting the project’s outcomes. Survey responses may be used in aggregated form or as anonymised individual quotations within these publications.
Participation is voluntary, anonymous and expected to take approximately 25 minutes. At the end of the questionnaire, participants may optionally provide their email address if they wish to be contacted about follow-up interviews or receive the handbook once it has been published.
The survey is organised by the Transport Research Centre in Brno, Czech Republic, on behalf of the Diversify-CCAM project. It is coordinated by Adam Skokan, Head of the Autonomous Mobility Department at the centre.
Diversify-CCAM is a European-funded initiative that aims to support the development of more inclusive cooperative, connected and automated mobility solutions by addressing diversity across social, cultural, geographical and policy dimensions. The project brings together partners from across Europe to develop recommendations and practical guidance that promote equitable access to future mobility technologies.
Professionals involved in the design and development of CCAM systems are encouraged to participate and share their experiences to help inform future recommendations for the sector.
