During the first ECAVA Forum on 23-24 June 2026, Executive Vice-President Henna Virkkunen will launch the Autonomous Drive Ambition Cities (ADACities) flagship initiative to accelerate the deployment of AI-enabled autonomous mobility solutions in European cities.

The Forum will conclude with an online Information Day on 25 June on ADACities Call for Expression of Interest (open to all interested stakeholders and available on the Commission’s streaming service). The event will present the objectives of ADACities, outline opportunities for engagement, and explore how it connects to broader EU initiatives on connected, cooperative, and automated mobility (CCAM).
