Trustworthy AI for automated vehicles: Navigating Ethics, User Perception, and Cybersecurity
Through collaborative research, the EU-funded project AI4CCAM contributed to the CCAM ecosystem by addressing a very specific issue related to trustworthy AI and automated driving.
17 November 2025, 14:00 – 17:00 CET
On the day prior to the project Final Event (same location), the 2nd edition of the AI4CCAM Stakeholders Forum Workshop will take place, where transport operators, shared mobility stakeholders, industry experts, policymakers, cybersecurity specialists, and representatives of Vulnerable Road Users (VRUs) will discuss challenges and opportunities offered by AI for Connected, Cooperative and Automated Mobility (CCAM) integration into public transport and shared mobility.
In the form of round table discussions, the workshop aims to explore the levers and barriers to the adoption of Connected Automated Vehicles (CAVs) and provide insights to shape guidelines on diversity, inclusion and cybersecurity produced by AI4CCAM.

18 November 2025, 09:00 – 17:00 CET
The event will be the right place to explore the ethical, perceptual, and cybersecurity dimensions of Trustworthy AI for automated vehicles.
Through enriching plenary sessions, demonstrations and Virtual Reality (VR) experiences, peers and experts will share insights and perspectives on how AI can be effectively and responsibly tested, deployed, operated and assessed when applied to automated mobility.
Demos will highlight key innovations in the use of artificial intelligence for safer, more ethical automated mobility, and also reflect the project’s multidisciplinary approach and commitment to open-source tools, scalable validation environments, and human-machine interaction research.
