ALICE Logistics Innovation Summit

Tangla Hotel, Brussels, Belgium

Freight transport and logistics innovation for a competitive Europe

We are at a decisive moment where the green and digital transitions are transforming freight transport and logistics. The shift is systemic, ranging from the electrification of road transport and AI-driven automation to the implementation of eFTI, the Physical Internet and digital logistics. Addressing these challenges through isolated efforts is no longer sufficient. Europe needs an integrated, cross-sector approach that embraces multimodality, urban logistics and port and hub strategies, in order to strengthen its internal market and global competitiveness.

This Summit provides an excellent platform to showcase how EU-funded projects are contributing to this integrated transition. It will also be an important opportunity to engage with the wider policy context, including the forthcoming Multiannual Financial Framework for 2028-2035, which will define the EU’s investment priorities.

The Logistics Innovation Summit will feature:

  • High-level plenary sessions and parallel thematic sessions covering topics such as urban logistics, low-emission assets, automation, port strategies, eFTI, logistics clusters, etc.
  • An exhibition area where projects, companies and organisations will present innovative solutions and achievements
  • The ALICE Logistics Innovation Awards and a Gala Dinner, offering additional networking opportunities
  • Discussion tables on Day 2 for deeper engagement on topics not covered in the parallel sessions.

The Summit is expected to attract 150-200 participants, including ALICE members, MEPs, representatives of the European Commission, leaders of EU-funded and regional projects, industry innovators, decision makers, and potential partners and stakeholders in logistics.
