Autonomous Mobility Congress: How does technology affect society and policy?

Created on 19 January, 2026

02 Feb 2026

Provinciehuis, Leuven, Belgium

Autonomous mobility is no longer science fiction, but will be a real game changer for the entire mobility system in the next ten years. So the question is not whether it will happen, but how we prepare for it. In the city of Leuven, autonomous bus shuttles are already operating on public roads today.

Belgian Federal Minister for Mobility Jean-Luc Crucke, and Emmanuelle Vandamme, President of the FPS Mobility and Transport, invite everyone to a conference dedicated to autonomous vehicles in Belgium.

This event is specifically aimed at actors from the public sector. The aim is not to present a purely technological showcase, but to unravel together the societal, economic and legal consequences of these developments for our public services.

The event will be in French and Dutch, with simultaneous translation provided. More information on the programme is available here.
