Virtual
The IX installment of the CAD webinar series was held on 9 May 2018 from 12.00 to 13.00 CET on the topic ‘Designing cooperative interaction of automated vehicles with other road users – the EU project interACT’ which covered this H2020 project.

As Automated Vehicles (AVs) will be deployed in mixed traffic, they need to interact safely and efficiently with other traffic participants. The interACT project is working towards the safe integration of AVs into mixed traffic environments. In order to do so, interACT analyse todays’ human-human interaction strategies, and implement and evaluate solutions for safe, cooperative, and intuitive interactions between AVs and both their on-board driver and other traffic participants.
This webinar presented the first results of the project on scenario definition and the observation of human-human interaction in mixed traffic environments from three European countries (Germany, Greece, & the UK).
