CCAM-ERAS First Workshop

CCAM-ERAS First Workshop

26 Nov 2024

Brussels, Belgium

10:30 to 15:30 CET

The newly started CCAM-ERAS project aims to develop the necessary knowledge and prepare for the possibilities that may arise from deploying CCAM. By addressing real-world use cases, the project aims to develop actionable schemes to tackle labour market challenges, namely through increasing knowledge and understanding of the skills required for CCAM deployment.

From this perspective, the CCAM-ERAS project kicks off its first workshop to bring together experts, stakeholders, and partners to identify CCAM’s needs and explore its impact on the labour market.

The workshop will cover different aspects:

  • The identification of skills shortages and skills forecasting.
  • Designing of educational and labour market schemes.
  • Analysis of the societal impact of CCAM – specifically, the effect on employment.
  • Recommendations for training programmes and policies that will help to align worker capabilities with industry needs.
  • Addressing skills mismatches in the current labour market.
  • Existing and potential regulations relating to CCAM impacting the job market.
  • Industry growth prospects.
  • Public perception towards CCAM.
  • New infrastructure needs and the impacts on jobs/skills.
