Bridging Innovation: Integrated, Safe and Seamless Mobility

ITS Congresses are a forum to exchange knowledge, address challenges, and accelerate innovation in smart mobility and intelligent transport where industry experts, policy makers, academics, researchers, and public authorities come together to present solutions, services and technologies for moving people and goods in smarter, safer, and more sustainable ways.

ITS European Congresses reflect the European goals in mobility and transport and highlight achievements and advancements in mobility and transport, namely in the cities and regions where they are hosted, but also in research and pilot projects and concrete real-world deployments across Europe.

Through high-level expert dialogues, technical sessions, live demonstrations, and exhibitions, each Congress highlights how innovation is improving everyday mobility and transport. 

The 2026 Congress theme highlights the shift from pilot projects to deployment, from siloed systems to harmonised networks, and from vision to impact. Building on this theme, the Congress addresses four strategic topics (read more on these here):
