This two-day event will showcase the latest results, findings and key learnings from the MODI EC project Netherlands use case in Rotterdam, with a focus on Connected, Cooperative and Automated Mobility (CCAM) for port operations and drayage.
Participants will gain insight into how CCAM can support logistics operations in port environments, with particular attention to the interaction between the vehicle, terminal operations, and the physical and digital infrastructure (PDI) needed for safe, efficient and coordinated operations.
What to expect
- Live demonstrations with DAF Trucks NV ‘s CCAM truck around APM Terminals Maasvlakte
- A bus tour and in-depth sessions on the technical realisation of CCAM in port logistics
- Presentations from logistics stakeholders, including perspectives from ALICE, Alliance for Logistics Innovation through Collaboration in Europe (ETP LOGISTICS), APM Terminals and A.P. Moller – Maersk
- Discussions on PDI readiness, vehicle-terminal coordination, business impact and next steps for deployment
- Networking opportunities with project partners and sector stakeholders
