Putting the Safety Assessment Framework to the test

The EU-funded V4SAFETY project (Vehicles and VRU Virtual eValuation of Road Safety) aims to develop a forward-looking, simulation-based safety assessment framework. Our framework is designed to evaluate the long-term performance and impact of road safety measures, from in-vehicle and infrastructure solutions to regulations affecting both vulnerable road users and drivers.

Workshop objectives

• Explore the V4SAFETY Framework: Learn about the methodologies for simulating the impact of safety measures on traffic safety.
• Participate in Hands-on Sessions: Apply the (draft) framework step-by-step, using the provided guidelines.
• Provide Feedback: Share your comments and suggestions to help refine and improve the framework’s usability.
