Webinar: From Principles to Practice: Social Sciences and Humanities (SSH) in AI-Driven CCAM
26 May 2026
Online
16:00 - 18:00 CET
Organised by the EC CCAM project HIDDEN, this webinar is bringing together leading experts from the Social Sciences and Humanities (SSH) and the Connected, Cooperative and Automated Mobility (CCAM) community for a dedicated cross-disciplinary exchange.
The webinar will explore one of the central challenges in AI-driven mobility research: how do ethical, behavioural, legal, and societal considerations actually translate into the development of CCAM systems — in practice, not just on paper? Through short expert presentations spanning social, legal, behavioural, ethical, and policy perspectives, followed by an interactive panel discussion and open Q&A, the session aims to create a genuine dialogue between SSH researchers and the CCAM technical community.
This event reflects HIDDEN’s core commitment to integrating SSH perspectives into technical development from the ground up — ensuring that the project’s AI models and decision-making systems are shaped by human behaviour, ethical principles, legal frameworks, and societal expectations.
