Second of the series, this webinar will provide an in-depth exploration of the advancements in the PoDIUM German Living Lab.

The webinar will delve into the German Living Lab’s work, focusing on the “Cooperative Corridor Management” use case in the city of Ulm, which explores how multi-connectivity and advanced data modeling can improve urban traffic management at complex intersections. The session will cover key aspects, including the deployment of 5G mmWave communication, a multi-connectivity approach for robust data exchange, and the application of a Digital Twin to synchronise real-world and digital models. Cooperative planning strategies aimed at managing traffic corridors effectively will also be discussed. As testing is still underway, the presentation will feature insights into the system architecture and initial measurements, with KPIs to be addressed in future sessions.
