EvoRoads Project Seeks Input on Its Safety Criteria Catalogue

The Horizon Europe project EvoRoads aims to advance the European Union’s Vision Zero initiative through the implementation of a comprehensive framework that integrates innovative models, tools, and services for data-driven safety assessments. Its objectives include creating a federated platform for infrastructure monitoring and safety management, promoting policy recommendations, and fostering standardisation across European countries. ¹

One of EvoRoads’ first outcomes is a structured matrix of more than 100 safety indicators categorised into ten transport dimensions. This matrix highlights advanced solutions in infrastructure monitoring and vehicle technology while identifying gaps in areas such as vulnerable road users (VRUs) and C-ITS.

The EvoRoads team is now gathering feedback on a selected set of key safety indicators, categorised into five main groups. Follow the link below to have your say: the deadline for contributions is February 28.
