New AI factories sites selected across the EU
The EuroHPC Joint Undertaking (EuroHPC JU) has selected six more sites across the EU to host AI factories.
AI Factories are dynamic ecosystems that foster innovation, collaboration, and development in the field of artificial intelligence (AI). The commission identified the establishment of AI factories as priorities towards he objective of turning Europe into an AI Continent.
The first seven factories sites have been selected in December 2024 (Finland, Germany, Greece, Italy, Luxembourg, Spain and Sweden). The newly selected six are set to be deployed next year in Austria, Bulgaria, France, Germany, Poland, and Slovenia.
