New CCAM Projects Selected Under the 2024 Work Programme

Seven new projects have been selected under the 2024 Horizon Europe Work Programme to advance research and innovation in Connected, Cooperative, and Automated Mobility (CCAM).

Under CCAM Cluster 2 Vehicle technologies, answering the topic “Centralised, reliable, cyber-secure & upgradable in-vehicle electronic control architectures for CCAM connected to the cloud-edge continuum”:

  • EEA4CCAM (Electrical and electronic architecture for connected, cooperative and automated mobility)

Under CCAM Cluster 3 Validation, answering the topic “Scenario-based safety assurance of CCAM and related HMI in a dynamically evolving transport system”:

  • CERTAIN (Resilient And Continuous Safety Assurance Methodology For CCAM And ITS HMI Components)

Under CCAM Cluster 4 Integrating CCAM in the transport system, and answering the topic “Orchestration of heterogeneous actors in mixed traffic within the CCAM ecosystem”:

  • CARMONY (Coordinated Action For Responsive Mixed Orchestration And Network Yield)
  • CHORUS (Coordination of Heterogeneous Actors in Mixed Traffic within CCAM)

Two new projects under CCAM Cluster 5 Key enabling technologies answering the topic “AI for advanced and collective perception and decision making for CCAM applications”:

  • AIGGREGATE (AI-enhanced collective intelligence for resilient, ethical and user-centric awareness and decision making in CCAM applications)
  • HIDDEN (Hybrid Intelligence For Advanced Collective Perception And Decision Making In Complex Urban Environments)

One last project under Cluster 7 Coordination  answering the topic “Robust Knowledge and Know-How transfer for Key-Deployment Pathways and implementation of the EU-CEM”:

  • CCAMbassador (Connected, Cooperative and Automated MoBility Assessment & Stakeholder Dedicated and Operational awareness Raising)
