New EIC accelerator challenge “Breakthrough innovations for future mobility”

The EIC Accelerator Challenge “Breakthrough innovations for future mobility” aims to support startups and SMEs that are developing innovative solutions reducing the environmental footprint of transport, namely related to autonomous transport and smart charging.

Key focus areas for this challenge include:

• Significant advancements in the design, manufacturing, assembly, and operation of road vehicles, waterborne vessels, aircraft, or rail systems;
• Development of disruptive technologies to enhance operational efficiencies while reducing greenhouse gas emissions, secondary pollutants, and noise pollution;
• Sustainable fuel solutions for challenging sectors such as aviation and maritime, including retrofitting options;
• Innovations in digital tools, from sensors to AI applications, aimed at improving autonomous transport and promoting sustainable energy use.
