New funded CCAM projects from 2025 Work Programme
Three new Connected, Cooperative and Automated Mobility (CCAM) projects funded under the Horizon Europe Work Programme 2025 have officially kicked off: RemoteReadyMove, AcceptRemote, and Pre-LSDemo.
Both RemoteReadyMove and AcceptRemote focus on advancing Remote Operation as a key enabler for CCAM systems, and place strong emphasis on integrating societal aspects into technological development. RemoteReadyMove will test real-world applications for both passenger and freight transport in six pilot sites across Europe, using Remote Operation to extend operational capabilities and increase system reliability. AcceptRemote develops a comprehensive societal readiness framework that incorporates inclusiveness, gender sensitivity, cultural context, and trust-building into remote operation systems. The project will validate advanced solutions such as AI-driven communication systems, multi-agent fleet coordination, and scenario-based simulations through three demonstration pilots, covering passenger mobility, logistics, and mixed transport.
As a Coordination and Support Action (CSA), Pre-LSDemo supports the preparation for future large-scale demonstrations by aligning stakeholders, methodologies, and operational frameworks across Europe, and addressing challenges related to integration, scalability, and cross-border deployment of CCAM solutions.
