Open call to experiment on next-generation 5G/6G testbeds across Europe
The EC project ENVELOPE (funded under the HORIZON-JU-SNS-2023 call) is dedicated to advancing and broadening the scope of 5G architecture, creating technical enablers and corresponding interfaces tailored to Connected and Automated Mobility (CAM) Use Cases.
The project is organizing two rounds of open calls, with a total of € 2.700.000 to be distributed in the form of lump sum funding, for 3rd-party projects to experiment on ENVELOPE infrastructure and demonstrate the reusability of the ENVELOPE developed features.
The first Open Call is out with funding of up to €1,350,000 in total, and closes on 31/07/2025 (the second open call will open on 1/10/2025 and close on 20/11/2025).
Applicants should validate the infrastructure platform’s functionality by making use of at least 1 ENVELOPE API and/or ENVELOPE Enabler and/or extend it with additional functionalities tailored to the needs of other verticals/industries (the extension should target the design, development, integration and validation of a new Enabler/API).
