More CCAM Projects in the Spotlight
24 September 2025
Project in the spotlight is an initiative of the CCAM Association to present the results of CCAM projects funded under Horizon Europe Work Programmes.
After a first series of profiles, new ones are out:
- SUNRISE Interactive Handbook is an open-access online tool introducing a methodological Safety Assurance Framework to support testing and validation of CCAM systems using standardised approaches, reusable tools, and well-documented processes to help engineers, researchers, public authorities, and industry stakeholders define what needs to be tested, how it should be tested, and how to interpret the results in a way that supports safe deployment. - SINFONICA has developed comprehensive methodologies and tools to ensure that future CCAM deployments are truly inclusive and accessible to all citizens. Through an extensive engagement process with over 6,000 citizens, SINFONICA identified key barriers faced by people with mobility challenges, and transformed the data collected and research insights into actionable guidance for CCAM deployment, including tailored recommendations for policymakers and service providers. - PoDIUM has explored how Physical and Digital Infrastructure (PDI), alongside communication technologies, can enable CCAM deployment through integration of multi-connectivity, advanced data fusion and Multi-access Edge Computing (MEC) into dynamic Digital Twin models. Read more here.
- CONNECT has delivered a comprehensive, multi-layered trust and security framework. The Trust Assessment Framework (TAF) is an open-source solution designed to continuously evaluate system trust levels, empowering both researchers and industry to advance secure, transparent, and verifiable CCAM deployments.
