New Horizon Results CCAM Pack: Focus on FAME

Results Packs are thematic collections of projects’ results published by the European Commission on CORDIS, tailored to specific audiences for further exploitation. A recent Results Pack named Building European capacity for Connected, Cooperative and Automated Mobility focuses on on 15 CCAM projects, including FAME. You can read more about the pack here.

Establishing a European framework for connected, cooperative and automated driving is the Results Pack article devoted to FAME. The article highlights FAME’s focus on the lack of harmonised legislation and stakeholder alignment across Member States, as well as its support to the commitment of the European Commission and the Connected, Cooperative and Automated Mobility (CCAM Partnership) to provide a long-term coordination framework for large-scale testing and evaluation activities in Europe.

Particular emphasis is devoted to FAME’s objectives, such as its Data Space, its Knowledge Base and its Common Evaluation Methodology (CEM), including the upcoming complete version of the EU-CEM Handbook, which is going to be presented on 8 May 2025. Another element discussed in the article is FAME’s key role in building partnerships, including its large consortium, its cooperation with Member States, and not least its role in the organisation of the EUCAD conference, which this year is going to take place in Ispra, Italy, from 13 to 15May 2025.
