How to get to JRC Ispra¹

The closest airports are Milan Malpensa (25 km), Milan Linate (80 km) and Milan Bergamo Orio al Serio (100 km).

From Malpensa airport

• TILO train (Treni Regionali Ticino Lombardia) to Besozzo station. In Besozzo, take a bus from the Besozzo c.so XXV Aprile station to Ispra (bus stop is on via Mazzini, about 1km from the JRC entrance)
• Malpensa Shuttle bus service or Malpensa Express train to Milan Central Station where you can take a train to Gallarate railway station and from Gallarate station, a train to Besozzo.

From Linate airport

• Airport bus connecting the airport to Milan Central Station in about 25 minutes (see above how to get from Milan Central Station to Ispra).
• Metro line M4 connecting the airport and the city center in less than 30 minutes. M4 line terminates at San Babila station, where you can switch over to the M1 line to connect to other areas of the city.

From Bergamo airport

Shuttle bus to Milan Central Station and Malpensa Airport (see above how to get from Milan Central Station/Malpensa Airport to Ispra).

Accessing JRC Ispra by car

The JRC Ispra site can be easily reached by car. However, due to the high number of people expected to attend the conference, it will not be possible to guarantee access by car within the JRC Ispra site. A parking area will be therefore reserved to the EUCAD participants outside the Ispra site and a navette service will be provided to connect the parking with the JRC entrance. If you plan to reach the conference by car, please indicate so in the registration form. We will inform you about the position of the external parking location in due course.
