American Automobile Association: Heavy rain defeats ADAS functions

The American Automobile Association (AAA) released the results of an independent study that evaluated the impact of adverse weather conditions on advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS). Using several different vehicles, the emergency brake systems tests showed that with moderate to heavy rainfall the effectiveness of these systems is considerably reduced.
