Artificial Intelligence in smart cities and urban mobility
A briefing on how Artificial Intelligence applications can be used in urban mobility and smart cities, and their deployment facilitated, has just been published. It was requested by the AIDA (Artificial Intelligence in a Digital Age) Special Committee of the European Parliament, in order to enrich ongoing discussions concerning the difficulties faced by municipalities to deploy fundamental infrastructure enabling data analytics and AI solutions for the benefit of smart cities and urban mobility.
The briefing focuses on relevant use cases beneficial for smart cities and urban mobility, the challenges faced by the public sector when it comes to the deployment of such AI solutions, and the recommended actions to overcome the identified challenges.
