CLASS Final Event: A novel software architecture for real-time smart cities
30 Jun 2021
A new-generation computing infrastructure, developed by the European project CLASS, has combined edge-to-cloud technologies with big data analytics methods to revolutionise the way smart cities will interact with their vehicles and citizens in real time.
The CLASS architecture has been evaluated in the Modena Automotive Smart Area (MASA), a real urban laboratory in the city of Modena in northern Italy, equipped with sensors and advanced connectivity, and on high-tech equipped Maserati cars that can test the CLASS innovative potential in traffic management and advanced driver-assistance systems.
As CLASS is coming to an end, join the event on Wednesday 30 June at 10:00-13:00 CEST for the final dissemination, where the novel CLASS software architecture and its integrated software components and showcase the applications of the CLASS software solution in the smart city use case deployed in Modena will be presented.
The event is open to anyone interested from the research, industry, policy making, and citizen communities.
