The interACT consortium regrets to inform you that the Final Event of our project planned to be held on April 1st , 2020 in Fürstenfeldbrück, Germany is CANCELLED. Following the official guidelines – by the national authorities across Europe – regarding the protection from the coronavirus (COVID-19) and taking into serious consideration the people’s concerns, we have made the cancellation decision for avoiding any possible risks arisen. Our first priority is the health and safety of speakers, experts, participants and project partners.

We would like to warmly thank you for your understanding and please accept our sincere apologies for any inconvenience caused.

At the present time, the interACT project team reviews alternatives on when and how this event can be organized so the results of the research work made the past 3 years can be presented to the public.

interACT Final Event “Designing cooperative interaction of automated vehicles with other road users in mixed traffic” will take place on 1 April 2020 in Veranstaltungsforum Fürstenfeld (Fürstenfeld 12, Fürstenfeldbruck – near Munich), Germany.

A final event of interACT project will present the results of three years of research and development by the consortium partners. The purpose of the event is to unveil the interACT’s findings for the safe integration of Automated Vehicles into mixed traffic environments.

To this end, interACT has designed, implemented, and evaluated solutions for safe, cooperative, and expectation – conforming interactions between the Automated Vehicle and both its on-board driver and other traffic participants. interACT’s outcomes and achievements will be presented in a multi-disciplinary programme that includes a project workshop with presentations given by both project partners and external parties, an exhibition with posters and pc-demos, and a live demonstration of interACT’s two demo vehicles at the BMW Driving Academy Maisach test tracks.
