The Workshop is organised by the European Commission with the support of the CARTRE project.

This Workshop builds on the positive feedback from a first informal workshop organised in December 2016 with participants from member states who had started, or were planning to soon start, large scale pilots on public roads.

In addition to giving an overview of current activities, this Workshop will offer an opportunity to share experiences and identify topics for collaboration. At what stage, Setting up and running a pilot or similaand how, is it useful to expand the view and think about exchanges and collaboration?r is complex business. It requires intensive work and organising in order to overcome both technical and practical challenges. Collaboration and organisational efforts may be significant within the project itself.
