Horizon Europe CCAM Calls 2023 Submissions
The closure of the Horizon Europe CCAM Calls of 2023 marks a significant milestone in our journey towards fostering large-scale demonstrations.
To our delight, many proposals were submitted. Find below the table recapping the number of proposals submitted per call:
|Type of action
|Budget (EUR million)
|# of projects expected to be funded
|# of proposals submitted
|User-centric development of vehicle technologies and solutions to optimise the on-board experience and ensure inclusiveness
|Generation of scenarios for development, training, virtual testing and validation of CCAM systems
|Infrastructure-enabled solutions for improving the continuity or extension of Operational Design Domains (ODDs)
|Integrating European diversity in the design, development and implementation of CCAM solutions to support mobility equity
|CCAM effects on jobs and education, plans for skills that match the CCAM development, and prerequisites for employment growth
The calls have not only highlighted the depth of talent and creativity within the CCAM transport community but have also showcased the collective desire to redefine and elevate European mobility.
So, what can you expect in the coming months?
As the evaluation phase unfolds, the outcome of this selection process is not just a list of projects; it’s a roadmap towards our goal, large-scale demonstrations. The selected proposals will bring to life ideas and solutions that challenge conventions, harness technology, and promote collaboration to redefine mobility.
In the meantime, join us during the virtual Info Day for Horizon Europe Cluster 5 – Climate, Energy & Mobility on 17 October 2023. An info session will be organized to present the new CCAM Work Programme 2024. Find out about the programme and the registration process to participate in the event here
