Recommendations to reinforce cybersecurity of EU communications infrastructure

28 February 2024

EU Member States, the European Commission and ENISA (the EU Agency for Cybersecurity) have released a report on the cybersecurity of EU communications infrastructures and networks.

The report puts forward strategic and technical recommendations to mitigate risks to the security and resilience of connectivity infrastructure, which complement the set of risk mitigating measures to ensure 5G networks cybersecurity across the EU and coordinated approaches among Member States.

This report also contributes to the workstream (Pillar III – Secure and resilient digital infrastructures for Europe) of the recently adopted White Paper on “How to master Europe’s digital infrastructure needs?”.
